I do not think you should pay more than $800 for your house. I have one in Carrollton and I am paying around $800. I think I may be paying more because I did not shop around and just took the first broker other people referred.

Is Arlington close to your work place? I know a lot of Chinese buy in North Dallas, probably not many in Arlington.
