让父母照顾小孩，付工资，要不要交 social security tax?

请父母做 household employee，照顾放学的小孩, 每年5000美元，刚刚查了一下，好像不需要付 social security tax or medicair tax, 我的理解对吗？

但是，联邦和州的收入税还是要报的吧？

很急，这几天就要做最后决定。请有经验的朋友回一下贴吧。
