紧急请教房子过户时lien 的问题

房子明天过户, 发现city 有个voilation lien-内部需要点小修理, 罚了$2000前房主银行出. 以后如果还不修好就是我的事了, 可能会有additonal fine. I called city department today and they said give me 10 days to repair after closing escrow. 但现在tile has this lien. Is city will cancell lien after inspection or I have to fill some forms to claim? I really upset about this issue and city will have another fine. I have to sign to take this lien today. I have send cash check to them last Friday.

Do I need to worry about it?
