only hard check affect your score.

If the landlord use the right account.

I have both landlord account and mortgage account. If I use mortgage account to check credit, it affect the score, if I use landlord account, no.

It is highly regulated what account should be used. I can only use the right accout for right applicant. (ex , I can not use mortgage account to check tenant).
