Miat42还在吗?应该相信Previous Landlord还是租房者的话?

Previous Landlord called me back and said this person has been late a couple times and hasn't paid current month rent. The person who wants to rent my house said she's been late once and can provide receipts of payment for a year. She said she didn't pay current month rent because the house is in foreclosure and the landlord got $2,000 of her deposit.If she can show me the receipt, can I still rent to her? (income okay, credit not good, family of 4 from 3 generations)
