1. Exterior:
Leak roof, missing gutters, holes on sidings, electric wires outside to the code specification;
Deck, rails: no loose part;
Driveway and masonry work: patch cracked area.
Doors and windows: no broken windows. working doors and locks.
2. Interior:
Paint: no holes or peeling paint on walls. Pay particular attention to window and window sills for leaded paint abatement requirement.
Stairs: no loose or cracked steps.
Working smoke alarm in each bedroom and living area.
CO detector in each level with bedrooms.
Electric: No deteriorated wires. All wire connections must be capped and in covered junction boxes. No failed GFCI. No excessive used of extention cords.
No locks on doors that can not be opened from inside.
3. Basement: Proper light and sanity conditions. Venting of heating, hotwater, and dryer must be in accordance with the manufacturer's specs.
