I am glad to get the advice from such nice pepole here. Thank you:-) I will open a roth IRA account by myself, please recommend some low cost fund and the best company to open an account for me, a new retirment planner. I only know Fidelity, Vangar, Scottrade, eTrade, but I read a paper mentioned Five low-cost funds in 2007:
Schneider Value SCMLX
Northern Small Cap Value NOSGX
Royce Value Plus Service RYVPX.
Fairholme FAIRX
T. Rowe Price Growth Stock PRGFX

And I reviewed the Vangar website, it looks like if I want buy the fund out of Vangar, I need open a brokerage account and will pay some service fee as well. Please advice and correct me if I didn't get it right.
