I am disappointed at my KA Stand Mixer

I have a KitchenAid® Professional 6008482; Stand Mixer, 575watts, 6qts. It tended to quit by itself after about 7 or 8 minutes of kneading due to overheating. This is the second one I have, a replacement of my first one, which never came back to life after quitting. It happened within a month of my purchasing it so I just returned it and got a new one. I am constantly worried that the second may go bad anytime too. I have read online that the plastic gear KA used now is to be blamed for the problem. Believe me, I don't knead too much 干面 and my 面团 is soft.
