今年6月份我把两岁的儿子送到一家很小的Montessori School. 去的时候在一堆paper上签了字, 我也没仔细读里面的条文. 我现在不想送这家了, 今天就给她们发了个Email. 结果没有想到的是, 她们回了一个长Email, 说我们当初和她们签了协议, 中间不能退出(除非家长丢了工作), 否则我们就要把全学年的钱全部补给她们,除非有新的孩子来替代我儿子.

I will need to work out the cost. Technically you are liable for the remainder of the school year. I will need to speak to the owner regarding this. It is common that families will pay for the tuition until a replacement comes to the school to take the child's place. This is a school and not a daycare, we commit a lot of time in our students and we are forced to find a replacement for the child when they leave mid-year. I will need to get back to you.
