So far i have very little information of this Sr. VP of IT group. The position I am applying for is typical financial analyst and with direct support of IT group's budget and planing. It will be the situation that the finance role needs to control and lead the VP in terms of understand the budgeting and presenting. I would plan to ask how his perspective and expectation of the finance role. Very appreciate your inputs as understanding their business nature and prioritizing their needs.
