use a mortgage account to check a tenant credit may violate law

Mortagge credit is hard check can only used for loan application, if a loan officer use the account to check a tenant credit, he/she may loss license.

tenant screen should use tenant screen account.

use this, www,allsiderealty.com if you are in Texas. Actually, the tenant screen can for anywhere in US.
