call apartment community to ask for what kind of

furniture, when is delivery day, why order from your friend, how long is the business relationship between them and your friend. Is apartment community sales good? Is apartment community itself in distress situation? Just some random questions, get some detailed information, you will have a sense of what is really going on.

You do not want to have those furniture as collateral, unless you want to open a furniture store.
