do not try to pull some random reasons out of asses and convince yourself what you want to believe.

basically it is the same thing you want to say too.

AIG was brought down by deritive market, even though it is not offically in RE market, same thing can happen to CITI too. the real problem is nobody really knows what kinda assets they have on or off balance sheet.
