Second, you made many good points. Especially in the last paragraph, and I am with you on that. But it's rather a general statement--just because you are the superstar, you take the credit/blame.
Third, I still think the team lost collectively in its execution. And yes, the shooters are in a collective slump. I think Kobe is more like Lebron in this case--they were all effectively defended/contained. The only beef I had is that he didn't drive as much. Even if he gets fouled with no calls, he should've done so just to make a statement!
I am actually struggling to figure out, why the Lakers didn't make Boston pay when they double/triple Kobe and pack the paint like that. Normally, you'd see more open shots and better spacing on the weak side. But somehow I don't think I've seen as many open shots as I would've expected. Any ideas?
