That is only because we never exposed DaLai's past. The governments in the West & US may play this card against China, but there are people in those countries who would like to know the true DaLai. It is a failure of public relations on the part of the Chinese government .

Ask the DaLai supporters - if Bin Ladin 10 years later claims he believe in Budaism & writes books about spirits & health, would that make Bin Ladin a spiritual leader?

DaLai was a slave owner, & he does not want to talk about the fact he was not happy about the land reform in Tibet & the slave owners lost their privillages. They want Tibet independence because they love the slave system they had.

Now they all claim they are peace loving religious leader. It is the Chinese governement responsibility to tell the world about this guy.

Frankly, I am very disappointed with China on this type of issues after 30 years of open door & reform. They used to be even more rigid than this. Somehow, China's officials don't ing understand how the Americans think.
