我在美国闹的笑话

我是个爱寒喧的人，看店子时候，喜欢和客人唠家常，老公经常告戒我，不要老问这些私人性的问题，人家想说，自然会告诉你。比如在中国，看到孩子和父亲或者母亲来家里，我会习惯地端详他们，说几句恭维话，孩子像妈妈和爸爸等，可是，在美国，这点习惯行不通了，记得有个客人叫Kevin，妻子是东方人，叫lisa, kevin有时带个可爱的混血儿小女孩来我们店里，那天，我看到他们父女亲昵的样子，忍不住地说，kevin,她和你这爸爸很亲啊，他笑笑说，这孩子不是我的孩子，是我的女友lisa的孩子，由于这个孩子恰恰也是混血儿，所以很难判断她不是kevin的孩子，看来我是自以为是了。

还有一次，我又犯了老毛病，一个女孩来我们店里，她长一双碧蓝的大眼睛，白雪般的皮肤，金发披肩，身材不高不矮，十分漂亮。她告诉我们，她是Jim的女儿，Jim 是我的老客户了, Jim 的太太叫Penney, 也经常来店里。我马上很热情地接待她，帮她填好表格，临走，我随口说了一句，你很像你母亲，因为penney 恰恰也是长了副碧蓝的眼睛和雪白的皮肤，Jim 的女儿笑笑地说，不是，Penney不是我亲生母亲，她是我的继母，听了我好不尴尬，嗨，又猜错了。

更丑的还再后面。那是一次我碰到一个胖胖的女客人，她在我们店里等她的电脑，我们就闲聊了几句，她的肚子很凸，我就自然而然地想到她是孕妇，随口问她，孩子什么时候生，她笑了，说，我没有怀孕，只是胖，所以才有肚子，我脸唰的红了，马上道歉，好在她脾气好，没有生气。美国人也好生奇怪，他们为什么这么多离婚的，为什么这么多胖子

?我用中国人的思维去想他们，永远也不会明白的。只有以后注意不要再问这方面的私人问题了就行了。
