If what you do at either place is similar work,

Go to whoever pays you more. You should decide this by yourself when you interview at both places. Which one you like better is one you should choose. To put this important decision into hands of a muggle is kind of risky. It is YOU who will go to that office daily. Not me.

Please sort out your priorities first before stepping into an interview room. The benefit is obvious: more headache in the beginning, but less headache afterwards. And you are in the driver's seat.
