Permanent $100k 的工资，Contractor W2: $60/hr, 1099: $65/hr

Perm Full Time Employee (FTE) salary $100k is what you see.
There is about another 20% benefit is what you do not see.

Therefore the real value for a $100k FTE is:
$100k x 1.20 = ~$120k

Therefore for a W2 Contractor: ~ $60/hr

Therefore for a 1099 contractor ~$65/hr (because you have to pay your own Social Security)
