Yours is fine. Your assistant is still young.

She should have asked herself why the firm hired a technician, but with multiple years experience? Probably 2 issues behind:

1. The management seriouly lacked the proper judgement.
2. From the very beginning, the management didn't trust LZ too much.

This is not only an issue of relationship or leadership.
