I once accepted an offer from a top tier Investment bank, mailed back the signed offer letter and cancelled it later. This was not very professional, I have to confess. Most offers are at-will. People do understand. The same recruiter still work with me later. The same investment bank still invite me for other positions. So, do not worry too much. This is capitalism :)
