First, I didn't doubt you have capability of being a programmer. James didn't either. What I pointed out is that a small project will help you to understand programming better. And you have a good teacher, your LG. I am sure that he is a remarkable software engineer. Moreover, it was good for you that you already had some implementation experience. However, what I talked here is to implement a small project by YOURSELF. It is a good way to learn.

It is not only for you. I just shared my thoughts about learning software development. I could be wrong. But it was my way to learn. And today I am still learning, because I know that I have many many thing I don't know. I never regard myself as a "high hand". If you and your LG have a better way, could you share it?
