给我对头作REFERENCE?

前两天，我的对头同事被俺挤走了。他现在希望我能作他REFERENCE。昨天副总（对手那边的）还跟我谈了一下，希望我帮一下。

问题是，他曾经给我说过，如果被开，他要告我们这边头。我作的REFERENCE会不会被他弄成证据什么的。
