Help PLS: Transfer Large Amount Data From Sun to WinXP

Those two boxes are not in same network and DVD is not an option since it is not big enough.

Can I copy data from Sun into USB 2.0, then copy to WInXP? Is it any comapatibale issue? What would be the best way to do it?
