The credit crunch is from subprime lending. Its scale is limited. RE will go down for a few year, not the economy.

I think RE going down is a good thing. It shakes out the bubble. It makes houses affordable to people so that many business can hire people in an affordable salary. It makes business viable.

Lastly, you, as a RE investor can buy a rental property with positive cash flow.
