If BX follows FIG footprint, BX will have small uptrend, then down, then zig-zag to create new lower before it goes up.

I loaded 30 Jan 08 30c of FIG call this morning at 0.75. Bot 600 shares of BX at 25.9 for the second wave.

During an extended downturn, if there are two consecutive (sometime one) days where price goes down with huge huge volumen, the next small wave will be up until a clear resistance is met. If resistance does not break, stock goes back down to create new lows. If it does break with huge volume (this case is not ususal), stock will create new base from here.

BX fits the this senerio.
