去年eBay上做些小买卖，报税时报home office有什么利弊？

我准备用sole propriety，所以也没有就申请Business ID。。Profit一共也就是几千块。若是报home office，可以deduct一部分。但是记不起好像在哪里看见说如果报了home office，今后卖房子的时候要补交税？大家有没有听说过类似的说法？
