What "adverse effects" are there? Taiwan has been away from the mainland for more than 50 years now, how'd that affect your life? Did you fail to find a job because Taiwan wasn't part of PRC? Or did you lose money in the stock market, fail to get a loan at a good interest rate, get passed by on a promotion? For most people, it has little "real" effects. To the contrary, it gave a lot of beaucrats and PLA jobs to do.
The oil in the Diaoyutai? Please first comprehend why Deng Xiao-ping wanted to "set aside the sovereignty dispute" on this issue with the Japanese, so that you can at least stop making elementary mistakes like this. (Do you think the CCP leaders are idiots or blind on this issue?)
>>>敢堂堂正正地大声説,我反対台独支持統一。你敢吗?你不敢嘛
Let me ask you this then: do you dare to say that you do not wish to live under an authoritarian dictatorship, and that you don't think China should be ruled by only one political party and one political voice? Dare you? I didn't think so.
How else then, could you expect Taiwanese, who have at least 2 choices now (KMT or DPP, or there are other choices too) to reduce themselves to just one choice under the CCP? If you are interested in unification, why is it so hard to at least make mainland a place that's attractive to the Taiwanese?
You are nothing more than a FQ. And, judging from your article, not a very intelligent one either.
