be able to let you do a lot with it. It has some nice features that even 5D does not have (auto ISO, live LCD view, auto sensor cleaning, etc.). A friend of mine recently got a 40D body + 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM lens for $1200 from Circuit city.
