Thanks for all the participation, the reason I am writing

this is that I have seen too many people looking to create the artistic images, and often forget the foundamental issue of the picture, which is exposure, color, crop etc..

What is an art, art is an abstract thing, anything can be called " art" , that's why when you go to art museum, sometimes you see something just randomly put together, not really fit in your mind of beauty or anything else, but it's strange, and totally different, so to judge a picture, to determine whether it's an art, it's anybody's idea or fantasy.

What is an artist?
An artist is often someone who created something that most people don't appreciate, and the artist struggle all his/her life financially, but when he/she dies, sometimes, his/her work were suddenly discovered and become hot cakes.

With that, all the impefections, under exposure can be forgiven in the name of art.

That's why some of the pictures stand out to win some of the prizes are not the prettiest ones, but the ones a lot different than anything else, so the purposely cropped, the distortion, the under exposure are used to create some visual difference.

When I went to the National Art Musumn, and to see all the famous paintings, mostly actually with good lighting, color, and easy to understand, the obscure, the difficult to understand are just a small portion of them.

So, foundamental skills are the reason I am referring to here.

Again this is my personal opinion, so let's get yours out as well.
