I have used Lightroom for a while, it's a very neat program, very easy to organize and process, only issue with Raw is that you need a fast computer with a minimum of 2gb Ram and maybe 256mb dedicated video card.

I will recommend anyone is serious about photography, Raw is the only option, because nobody can be so accurate about exposure and white balance, a little fine tuning capability goes a long way, of course you don't have to fine tune every one, but the ones worth fine tuning, you find out it's so much better with raw.
Just like if you shoot film, do you just keep the print and trash the negative?
