I have not seen lots of windsurfing pictures in the past, mainly in the film days, not very many people ( even pro shooters ) will even have the reach, think about now the digital days, I have 300mmx1.4x1.5=630mm, it's pretty amazing how much I can get out of the 70-300mm. ( I was thinking about using 180mm +TC 1.4, then it's way too short for that )
So I can say I am pleasantly surprised to see that the combo produce fairly decent pictures.

Flower shots are done in the morning in front of the beach, with wind and no tripod, so not very sharp, I do like the color though.

The tree by the beach is amazing, I was thinking about to avoid the bench, but then it will also eliminate some of the key elements I neeeded for the picture, so in the end, I included the bench, and it added color as well as distraction.
