and assuming IS gives you 2 stops advantage (for a small camera, I think this is optimistic), you still need shutter speed at least 1/100 sec. I do not know what is the aperture at the maximum focal length (should be fairly small). So you may need to use high ISO for wild animals (remember, they do not always stay in bright sunlight for you to photograph).
