我是做医学数据处理的，为了身份，一直待在医学院校里，有年头了，我没有任何生物医学背景，对着一堆基因呀，DNA呀，实在是提不起兴趣，far beyond my knowledge，所以刚拿了身份后就想换到其他的地方去。希望这里的热心人能指点一下。万分感谢！

我做一些bioinformatics的工作，所以现在main program language 是perl，用得比较熟，工作中也有用到java， unix shell 。我可以写web应用，包括database design，编程语言本身对我不是太大的问题，但是深层次比如涉及系统的东西比较弱，我也不太想走web developer这条路，新鲜的东西太多了。

我喜欢编程，喜欢尝试不同的数据结构和算法，但是一旦牵涉到系统的东西，我的理解能力就很弱，比如系统配置等等。我喜欢跟数据打交道，什么样公司对数据的处理要求比较多，但是这个公司的业务最好不要象生物医药的那么专业（就是不要是那种即便是中文也不大好理解的专业）？我想往数据库方面靠靠，结合我已有的数据处理的经验，不知道往哪些领域找工作最好？
