SQL language is the foundation for all the DATA or Database related computer jobs like: QA Tester/Engineer, Data Analyst, Database Engineer, Database Analyst, Business Analyst, Reporting Engineer, and Database Administrator (DBA).
Oracle is the largest database vender in the world. This class will teach you how to install Oracle 10g on your PC, and how to use Oracle SQL to query and manipulate data and generate business report from datbase. Many real industry sql s will be passed to you in the class. You will learn how to Extract data from Oracle Database Table to a flat data file or a MicroSoft Excel Sheet, and you will also learn how to Load large flat data file or Microsoft Excel sheet data into Oracle Database table by using Oracle 10g Sql*Loader (this method is called "ETL" in Data Warehouse or "Interface" in Oracle e-Business Suite 11i). Oracle ERP concepts, PL/SQL program example and how to do table normalization will also be introduced in this class. After you learn Oracle SQL concept, you can easily handle SQL on other database system like mySQL, db2 and MS SQL-Server.

Oracle SQL 101 is the foundation for the coming Oracle 10g DBA class.
