It might be the right thing for her to do but forcing it onto others is not. It' not unusual though. There are places like that. No matter where you go, there are things you like and you don't like. If for some reason you have to work there, try not to be affected by her words. If that's the company's culture, you certanly don't fit in. The other thing you can do is tohelp her work more efficiently.
