What is the difference? Why lunch is OK but dinner is not?
I used to see a couple worked together in the same office.The hu*****and is having lunch with another girl (married) all the time. If I was that wife, I would be really mad.
I wish my boss can take me to dinner but he never asked. Some days, I was talking with him in his office for 2 hours in morning and 2 hours in the afternoon. Only 10% is work related. Some of my collegues asked me:"what are you doing in his office for that long?" or "are you leaving the company?"
I would think it is probably better to go to lunch or dinner than staying in his office for 2 hours and with door closed. You co-worker will probably know you are complaining about her/him.
