Office politics - How to deal with this?

I have a hot potato in hand, please advise.

I'm working in IT dept in a middle size company. My previous manager (call him "Manager" )was fired a couple months ago because he was against to his boss ( call "Boss").

We have an application ( call it "App"), which is maintained by Manager only. After he left, App failed. A month later, company hired him as a consultant, I was assigned to learn this App from him. After I worked with him, we get the App back to normal. I found there is a trick in his code. At certain time when we run the code, App will fail. Manager knows that I knew this.

Boss has been working on a big project, and Manager wishes Boss fail on it, then he could back to office. But, Boss runs the project well recently. Now, Manager wants to schedule the App to run to fall into that trap.

Office the Manager is nice to me, his friend VP (same level as Boss) is on his side. Now Boss is my manager, and Boss is not nice to me.

What should I do?
