I am financially independent. The house is under my name(he didn't want to be responsible for the loan so his name couldn't be put on the title.) so I don't think he can take equity line from it. I opened an account last time when we talked about divorce so as to get money to pay him for the divorce. But it's really good to know the bad side of a man to be prepared for the worst.
