The picture quality is not good.

The general comment that people have is that some Sigma lenses have trouble auto focusing (my 30mm f1.4 had that problem, and I sent it back to Sigma and got it fixed and the lens back in 2 weeks). My Sigma 24-70mm does not have any auto focusing problem.
