I just did something crazy...

this is my new job for only half a year, in a company's "A group"(group head is also the head of the company), I feel like I have quite a bit free time to kill everyday, so when I see another opportunity in the company in a internal job posting, I emailed the head of group B checking if it's still available.

Honestly, I don't know if this is a smart move. My biggest concern is the head of group A will feel betrayed... but he is a very nice guy and he is the president of the company, I hope by doing this I won't offend him; and my intention is to do tasks for both posotions since I have extra time, that's why I call myself crazy...

Anyway, I don't know what to think right now, would like to hear you guys' opinion
