I don't think LZ qualifies , either.
You have to check with your state's accounting board for the qualifications for taking the exam. For Michigan, you would need 150 credit hours, including at least 30 credit hours in financial reporting, cost accounting, business law, auditing, Nonprofit accounting, etc. If you don't have a degree in accounting, or at least MBA concertating in accounting, you may not be able to register for taking the exam.
