TD and Manu, more due to their tough defense. Again, defense wins championships. Spurs' opponents had lowest 3 pointer pecentage, thanks to their terrific premieter defense. Bowen and Manu are in your face all the time, they rotate extremly well, therefore, you can't have space to set open 3s against them. what works is the system, Pop made everyone believes in his system. Yes, it's possible that Yao and TMac, Shaq and Wade, or Amare and Nash, can replace TD and Manu for the win, but the question is whether the other duo can work into the system as smoothly? Don't think so. As long as you have two legit super star or all star level players, and you have a great system, coach, and bunch of experienced and complementary role players, you are a contender.
