Japanese companies bought a whole lot real estate properties in US at a high price, and then the bubble bursted. Later, US companies bought those properties back at a big discount.
Chinese companies will have the same fate again, except no one will buy back, I believe. That is how US makes big money from foreigners.
Oil is going to be exhausted in less than 40 years, so the future mass energy is determind not to be oil. However, the wrong Chinese energy policy selected oil as the direction, unfortunately, and Chinese will have to pay big price and waste huge $$$.
