"Since China won't let Foreigner to own more than 50% of the same Chinese company." That is based on the WTO restriction to protect Chinese native industries. That is reasonable, and US also agreed when it signed the deal with China. Pretty soon, China will open insurance market to foreigner. Any company could own 100% Chinese insurance company as long as it has enough money.

BTW, Motorola China (Ltd.) and HP China (Ltd.) are fully owned by US company.
