totally unnecessary and it wil

demage auto trans. the reason there is a N gear in auto trans is for towing, it could demage trans if shift from N to D when car is moving. the reason there is a 3rd gear or O/D off button is for a very rare situation, when u r on a long slope, the trans got confused, it will keep shifting between 3rd and 4th gear, for all these years, I never met such situation. and engine break, for today's car, the break system is much more efficient than before, there is no need for engine break. the only situation u need shift auto trans is for some newly designed auto trans, u can shift to 2nd gear during snow day to start up, the trans will start from 2nd gear, not 1st gear.
