Soak beans in hot water overnight. Boil, add rock sugar, until very tender, do not add water in the middle of boiling. When you see little water left in the pot, use ladle to mash beans. Add some oil and (optional vanilla extract). Let cool. More healthy than canned bean paste and costs much less.
