You can tell your church that cooking is your hobby, since everyone can have their hobby, other fellows don't need follow that example or feel pressue.If viewed as performing family responsibity, you'd get endless grief for sticking out.

Sounds like you let your job follow your heart. Hope things work out well for you in Korea, outside cooking.
