They wouldn't leave you too long. If you 没有活干 for a long time, why they keep you. So It is still hard to say whether they want to keep you or not even they have sign your petition for green card. It can only show they still want to keep you when they signed the paper. You need to find out a good reason why 新项目也没有叫参与, otherwise you are in trouble. It is only when they are going to tell you that.
