我喜欢海鲜，但最喜欢的不是鱼或者虾，而是各种各样的贝类。阿拉斯加有一些海滩可以挖到蛤，到超市买个license，一把小铁铲或者专门的Clam Gun，查一查涨潮退潮的时间，就可以自己动手找食了。这种Razor Clam，大的有巴掌大，小的也有大拇指两倍大，极为鲜甜。可以用海水养一天，吐干净沙，清蒸或者煮汤。急着吃的，可以直接剖开，挖出蛤肉，洗净，加点素菜清炒，都好吃，因为新鲜。
