看到老师为儿子写的一封推荐信 我内心感慨万千

感动， 内疚， 反省 。。。

这是针对一个 volunteer program 的一封推荐信， 老师居然把一页纸写的满满的，通篇堆砌着赞美之词，而且赞美是全方位的。

我怎么在孩子身上看到的大多是负面的呢？谢谢老师通过这封信对我的提醒！

我这几天在深深地反思。以前在我眼里，他常常长时间“发呆”，让我很生气 。他似乎也没有什么drive, motivation, doesn't seem to care about anything ...he is going to waste his talents!   

我贴出来，绝对不是要BSO。希望提醒一下其他父母。我们的孩子也许比我们想象的要好很多。现在回想，他在middle school的时候成绩是不错，我没有想到他还有什么特别的， 毕业的时候学校居然通知我们他是 student of the year!

我们这个差学区，亚洲人都不屑的， 也许是老师孤陋寡闻，没有见过什么好学生，所以把他描写的那么完美  
也许这样的描写在本坛众多的牛爸牛妈来说是家常便饭。

但是我真的感谢老师的及时提醒，我会在今后更多的是focus on the relationship with my children ...
